Jasmine*
*appears with stars around her...sits by her waterfall....leans against a tree...closes her eyes to dream*
Ok, not really but that is what one of my online characters does a lot. That's it. I should also mention that this same character is a 'healer', 'shoulder to cry on' an 'advice giver', and someone who is in the background until her services are needed. The thing is...this 'dreamer' who likes her stars and her waterfall, is me. One thing about this thing called 'the internet', people take on roles that are not them and other do.
This character is found in one of the most unlikely places. The name is Jasmine* and she is found on a message board where all the other 'characters' or people there, fight the evils of the world, fall in love, run around like idoits and have fun. Jasmine* on the other hand, and me, tries to keep a leave head to keep the insanity down, not let her emotions show, or get involved with and of the battles.
How is this like me? I am a dreamer, I don't get involved, I'm the one who tried to keep things undercontrol so things can get done, I'm the one who people come and talk to about their problems and I give them my advice. So in short, Jasmine* and me are the same.
Jasmine*, like me, is a loner. We just stand off to the side until we are needed. Whether it is a shoulder, a smile, or help of some kind, we are there for people when they need us.
By now you have noticed the font color. That is part of Jasmine*. Me on the other hand prefers blue. That is the only difference that I can see between us. However the shade of blue I would use is not bright but dull and cold. The green is a dull and cold color as well. If I wanted to, Jasmine* could look like this. See the differece? Maybe not since this is a purple background.
And Jasmine* is only one of many 'characters' that I play. One is bright and cheerful, another is smart and witty, and then is the dark angry person who only shows up in times of great stress, named Sphinx. Each and everyone on of these 'characters' represents a part of me in one way or another. I don't like Sphinx and so I keep her at bay for as long as possible but it is not easy.
That is when I come here to write, a lot. If have found writing to be helpful in getting rid of tension, depression, anger and what ever else seems to be bothering me. I can tell you, if you want to see an example of 'Spinx' or the beginnings of her to show, read my first two or three entries. There is a lot of harsh feelings in those entries.
The other characters come and go as they please, depending on how much sugar or lack of, sleep/or lack of...I have had. They refelt a bit more of my over all personality, but Jasmine* is the main character that is around. She is passive, none agresive, with few exceptions, and quite. Just like me.
