The woos of work and school
Well...it's coming down to crunch time. I have my last semester test before the finals. It is a lab test. Lucky for me this time it is not all looking under a microscope...though I did pretty well on the last test with the micro part. Anyway, after the test I have to put my presentation together, only after I filter all the information from my books/internet sites. I know what I want my final presentaiton to look like, it is just getting it there and it won't be easy between work and stuff.
Speakig of work...yes....it has been intersting working with Cindy (aka: rommy/roommate). She's had a bad last couple of days in regards to being told what to do by various people and it has not helped with the fact she keeps getting pulled from one position to the next without any instructions. I think she needs to be trained somewhere different because right now she is scard of working the friers and backline because people keep shouting at her.
Then I get dragged into the picutre becuase I'm told not to help her and let her figure things out on her own, but at the same time, when no one is helping her or answering her questions that does not help her either. In short,we're both catching flak from the others.
The solution to this? I really don't know. The 'simple' answer would be fire her, but she'll never learn if she doesn't stay in one spot. Secondly, I suggested that she should go and talk to Tobe and tell him what is bothering her and see if she can't somehow get retrained or at least review things with someone this afternoon. We have five people this afternoon which is odd...oh well.
Anyway...I've got to get ready for work and get some study time in before then. On a 'cheerful' note, I failed three of the four tests I had in the past two weeks so I'll probably end up retaking them all again...and I can't afford to retake chemistry again. Right now I'm very close to just quitting school all together. I really really hate this. I'll most definatly have to retake my bio 213 class.
