12:18 p.m. - June 03, 2004 Anyway, other then the big movie/party thingy tonight, my plans for the day include catching up on sleep (or getting ahead) so I can watch the movie and enjoy it instead of wishing it was over with and I was at home in my nice warm bed. Hmm...you know what is werid? I ordered an iced mocha and the girl at the stand put whip cream on it. No big deal except it is pink and blue. O.o. For those who indulge in such coffee creatations, the whip cream sits on top of the drink and will slowly melt into the drink. For the cold beverages, it melts slower however, my mocha (which is brown in color) and the whip cream (pink and blue, two different layers) don't exactly make an appealing drink. The colors don't help the cause any. Last night my family and I went to a benifit dinner for my old 4-H county agent. For starters, those who don't know anything about county agents their job is to make sure the little 4-H kids follow the rules and run the 4-H program. In fact, one of my friends wants to be "Jay Ney" (our county agent). He has a type of cancer and will be trying for a stem cell transplant. The fundraiser was to collect money to find a donor because insurance will cover the actual transplant. Anyway, when I was first told about this, I was thinking it would be a nice thing to do because he was the county agent and we got a long pretty well and even tried to work with my small rabbit club to make it better (tried in the sence he helped up to keep our rabbit barn only for the rabbits). Anyway, I was cleaning my room and going through so of my old things and found a letter of recomendation he wrote for me a few years ago when I had applied for a scholarship to go to a rabbit confrence held at Purdue University. Even though I did not win the scholarship, I was still selected to go only if I raised the money. Jay helped me brainstorm ideas of where I could find the money. Then last night, someone asked if Jay would sing a song that he made the 4-H campers sing in the morning...with the actions. Now, for starters, no one likes to get up a 6 in the morning especailly camping because its cold outside. Then when you're forced to sing a stupid song about a sleeping bird with the actions at the same time...it really makes for an unpleasent morning. So, here was Jay, singing this song and doing the actions for it, by himself. There were a lot of people there who I met both from church and from 4-H and those who had gone to camp, could not help but laugh. I even had one dad look at me and "That's where she learned it from?" in a total state of shock. Wow! I'm rambling here. I still have yet to find a blank disk to work on that story starter...not that I'd complete the story mind you, but just start it ^_^. I think I'll end this here for now and watch a movie or two...and maybe take a nap. Tomorrow, if I get up and I'm not too tired, I might be able to go with my dad and go flying. He's a land appraiser and often has to fly in a plane to get the shots he needs of the land. I'll keep you posted on that adventure! ~*~Dream Dancer~*~
