No surprise here...we lost
Rememeber what I was saying Friday about the football team? And how they were going to lose? Well, guess what. Anyone who took my advice should have won a pretty penny or two. We lost...again. No big surprise there. 8-48, Washington State Cougars win again. And the funny thing about it was how all the sports reporters were talking like it was a 'big' game for WSU. When I mean a 'big game', I mean like they played again a team the could actually score more then one touchdown for the whole game.
To give you an idea of how bad we knew were were going to lose, at the end of the first quarter it was already 0-28 and it continued downhill from there.
Anyway, I have another 'wonderful' week a head of me and the school paper should be fun to read tomorrow will all the comments about how crappy our team is. To be honest, it can't be easy to be on the team and read about how bad you suck in the the papers week after week after week. If I played the grand sport of football and someone came recruting me to play for UI, I'd run the other way at sign with a team that I know will win more then one game a year.
So yeah...good times here. Oh and it is raining. Winter will be here soon because it is a very cold rain and the last few nights have been in the low 40s and there's been froze on car windows. Buddle up! Its going to be a long cold one this year.
