An Update of stuff
Ugh...I so do not have the modivation to work on my lab report. In fact, I'd rather be sleeping. Yes, that does sound nice. Maybe I will take small nap in a bit then tackle the report afterwards.
So what has been up with me lately? Well, not a whole lot. The same old stuff mostly. You know, school, work, homework, and finally hearing about my internship. Yes, today I heard back from Disney and will be working for the greatest human trap ever build by a mouse once again. So whatever I said two years ago about not going back is now null and void since I appled, accepted and ready to go, at least mentally anyway.
I still have to suffer through finals next week and have to manage to pack all my crap up and find room for it all either in my car or in my parents house which is still a mess from their last two remodles. It should be a challenge. I wonder if I could convence the parents to take a weekend off or part of a week to come up and help my pack/move and stuff. We will what happens.
So what did I get myself into this time you may be asking. Well, the title is Education Presenter at Disney's Animal Kingdom. From what the recuter and manager said, my target audience will be ages 3-8 at the Kids Discovery centers. They are hands on teaching stations that talk about one thing or another. Then I will be required to give a talk based off three scripts during the day. Not that I have problem talking to people, I'm just not comfortable talking to children, and this will be good training ground for that. Trust me, last time I was down in Sunny Florida, me and the kiddies did not get along very well.
That nap is sounding more appealing then the report. So I think a nice 30 min nap is just what the doctor ordered.
