1:01 a.m. - April 18, 2005 Well, actually, the 'real' excitment comes from my apartment itself, at the beginning of this month. Spiderman visited my apartment. *waits for everyone to stop laughing* That is the 'funny' story. The real story is this: the apartment downstairs was having a party that had started around nine or ten. At 11 it was still going and I went downstairs to asked them to turn the music down since I was woken up by the music and the loud voices coming from the walls and the people screaming/shouting outside the building itself. The music was turned down for about 10 minutes before being cranked up. Thrity minutes later, I couldn't stand it and asked them again. This time I was ignorned. My roomy made her own complante to them with no success either and she ended up calling housing to voice a noice complante. I tried again, still no success. By now it is almost 1:30-ish in the morning and I'm hungry. So I was snaking on some food while my roomy worked on her photo album. The door to our outside balcony opened up and a person dressed as Spiderman entered our apartment before walking out the front door. *waits for the laughter to die down again* I know this sounds rediclus, but it actually happened. But if I told you that someone entered the apartment at 1:30 am and was wearing a mask so we could not see him, then the story does not sound so funny. Needless to say, the cops were called and the party was over. Before the cops arrived, I went downstairs and was yelling the party goes about how the joke was not funny. I was then laughted at because I was wearing my robe, I was invited to join the party as well as yelled at becuase I have no idea how to live in an apartment becasue apartments are all about parties and if I had the problem, then I should move. Except everyone, including the party goers signed a contract stating there was a good neighbor police which ment no loud noise and with Disney thrown in, possible termination from your job. So I was right they were wrong. And finally, and it does get better, afer my few choice words and I was leaving to try the whole sleep thing again, people shouted up the stairs to me, "Ok, fine. No more Univeral Characters, how about Disney," and they laughed thinking it was the best joke in the world. So...that was how April started out and slowly going down hill from there. Work is very stressful, mostly because the 'team' I work with is not really a team. It is team only in name but not by actions and having worked in a team enviornment for the past four years at Arby's I know how a team should work. Also, the manager is what I would term as flaky. I believe she only understands my job based on a peice of paper in her office describing what I'm suppose to do, but she has never actually worked the job that I do. In fact, she has had her job for only a year and that is how long she has worked for the company. So there are a lot of things she does not understand. That does not help the whole team things either I might add. There was something else of importance I was going to write, but it is almost 1:30 in the morning and I have meeting at 9:30. Sleep would be nice and maybe tomorrow I'll remember what else I was going to say. ~*~Dream Dancer~*~
