Yes, I know it has been a while, a long while actually. That is kind of the problem when you don't have 24 hrs access to the internet. Right now I'm at the schools' library finishing a lab assignment. I'm done with the hard part, now I just need to intrepet the data.
I'm sure you may be wondering what ever happened with the whole car saga. Well, it is now over, thankfully. After I spent two weeks calling the insurance adjuster to find out where my check for my car was, it finally arrived. No sooner was that big fat check in my hands, then I turned around a bought my second car. Oh my word. I can't believe I dropped $4000 in one day in a very short span of time.
So what did I spent $4000 on? Well, I ended up with 2003 ford focus. It is a pretty little shade of green, with little less then 30,000 miles. The car was bought in lewiston by an older couple that drove it around town and once to seattle. That was it. I talked to the dealer where the car was bought and nothing was wrong with it either. And with all the ford delers trying to sell other focuses of the same year with higher miles at 11-13000, I got a nice deal with little over $10,000 with tax and title and all that.
So, I'm pleased with that. Granted, having my loyal little escort backed into by a big truck was not the way I wanted to go about buying another vechiale. I've already decided after all this, the next car I buy, will be on my terms, meaning I will buy something that I want. Sure, that won't be for several years down the road now, but if I'm going to be forking over that much cash ever again, it better be for something that I want.
Besides the car, another not so wonderful year of college has begun for me. I'm well into the fourth/fifth week of classes. I've already had one test, two quizes, and six assignements due. I'm only taking 13 credits and I'm barly keeping up. I guess that is what happens when you start taking your 400 level classes. I have three of them this semester along with chemister (my wonder friend...>.<) and the lab. It feels more like I'm taking 18 crdits with the work load though. I'll need as much luck and sleep that I can get without going insain.
In fact, I've seen my TAs more in the last 4 weeks then I have in the last 4 years, if that tells you how bad things are going.
Anyway, it is almost 9:30 and I need food and need to finish my paper before tomorrow. And somewhere in all that, work on my chemistery assignment that is due Friday.
