The endless summer of nothing!
First off...I'm still alive. Secondly, sad that my last entry was exactly one month ago? *sighs* I guess I'm cured to living without my wonderful internet. All last year (Jan-Dec 2005), I had no internet or very limited access to the internet. This year after kicking out my bad roommate, I had internet for the remainder of the school year (Jan-May 2006) then I moved into my new appartment and can't get the reciver to work so I have no internet by my roomate does. That leaves me using the internet on campus or taking my computer to work and doing all of my online stuff before/after work, whatever the case may be.

So how has life been treating me lately? Ok for the most part I guess. I have my kitty at my new apartment but other then that, nothing else is going on. My hours at work have been cut this summer, just like everyone else, so I've been spending most of my summer going nuts because I have too much time on my hands. "Normally" I'd say that I didn't have enought time, but when you're only working 25 hrs during the summer and were expecting 40...it is a big deal.

So to 'kill' time, I've been taking 2-3 hour bike rides, usually in the morning when it is still cool. Since that does not last all day, I end up stairing at the TV for the rest of the day until I either go to work or go to bed. See most of the shifts I've been working have all been at night so my days have been pretty dull. Because of this, everyone I know is working while I'm at home going insain!

So that is where I'm at. I'm board. I have peddled my bike roughly 100+ miles over the last two weeks alone. My cat is coming to reality that she now lives with a yappy dog that wants to be friends with her (or eat her, one of the two) and talk shows, soaps and info-mercials are all that are on during the day on TV if you don't have cable. I have watched my whole movie collection once through already (all 30+ films) and have rented about $50 worth in rentals in two weeks. What does this tell me?? I can't wait for school to be over with!

Oh, and in August, I'll be making a visit to Orlando, so I guess I should stop with the movie rentals then if I want some spending money. ~_^
