I'm not dead!!
Well, it has been a while. No excuses are needed.
I've been keeping busy with school and trying to survive another fun semester of Organic chemistry. Right now, I'm doing 'ok' but I need to do better and pass this class. That is all I'm asking.
This semester I'm taking only 12 credits and four classes. Not a bad deal if you ask me. I'm taking two history classes: American Revoulution and Oliver Stone as a Historian. Yes, I know Oliver Stone class really is not a history class, but it meets on day a week and is very painless in terms of research and time commentment. The Amer. Rev class is fun because I like early American history. I could do without the weekly readings of 40+ pages but the readings are keeping my A so I'm happy.
Besides those two fun classes, I'm taking a Conservation Biology class, which is more of an eithics/policy class more then anything, but if I want to work in a zoo, it is a good class to be taking and get a better understanding of the different issues. One thing this class has us do is debate a topic. I've never done a debate so it will be interesting to see how things go. I have until November 30th to research my topic so I'm not too worried about it.
And lastly comes by 'favorit' class of all. Chemistry. I'll just leave it at that.
Besides working my way through my fun classes of the year, I applied for another internship and an actuall job with Disney. The internship is another educaitonal job through animal programs and the job-job would be part-time three days a week. I had an interview for the internship and the part-time job I have not heard anything about. Oh well, I'm not too worried about either one. If I get the internship though, I have a better chance of getting the job-job. So I'm betting more on the internship then the job right now. I'll know by December if I'm going back to Orlando or not. Wish me luck.
Right now I'm sitting in the laundry mat working on a paper due tomorrow and avoiding the paper by writing this entry. Nice work, isn't it?
The only other thing I have to report is how my Disney Rep team this semester pretty much fell apart at the last minute. We have our presentation in a two weeks yet I can't get ahold of my team to set anything up like hanging posters or hosting tables or anything like that. It has been a challening year but we are working on it. So that is the only stree thing I have right now. I'll survive though.
Well, my clothes are dry and I still have several more hours to write my paper and hide from my roommate and her boyfriend for the day. Good times.
