I passed...and now what?
Well, it has been a while since my last update. I'm sure my last entry was sad and very bleak. I did not review my last entry but I'm taking guesses here.
So where am I? Well, right now I'm sitting in my parents livingroom watching "Man of the Year". For those who've seen it, great movie. For those who haven't, I recommend it. I'm also chatting away on-line to all my old buddies becuase I have not had internet access on a regular basis for over a year now. *sigh* But I have survived.
Which brings me to my lastest and greatest news. I PASSED ORGANIC CHEMISTRY!!!!
Yes, that is right, I'm now an offical college graduate. Which also brings me to the sad state of trying to find a job. Grr >.<
I'm still not happy with work at Arby's but it pays the bills. In September I'll be heading to Texas for an internship at a small zoo called Fossil Rim. It is about an hour south of Fort. Worth. That is the reason for staying put. But I hate it.
Now I'm working on another project. It is a personal goal of mine and that is to be a little bit more socicalible. Yes, I know. That means spending time outside of my home/apartment/work and going to places to talk to strangers. This will be a very big undertaking for me seeing as I've spend that last several years (since Jr. High in fact), locked away studying or playing with my rabbits and working on 4H projects. So I don't know how to be socialible.
I'm also working on updating my wardrob. Yes, I know, I'm making a lot of big changes both personally and professionally. But I think in the long run, it will pay off. I need to get out of the t-shirt and blue jean look.
I'll keep you posted on what happens.
I know I'll be facing many life changes ahead of me. I don't know where I'll be next, or next month. I know what I want and I do hope I get there. Will a new look get me there? Maybe not, but it signifies a change.
