And here I am
My summer has been a dull so far. I have applied to so many places that I've lost count. I have one small break through. There is an Ameri-Corp opening with the Latah Country 4H office and I have an interview next week. I also have an interview at the science center. In the mean time, I still have the job in Texas.
Funny how in January I was so excited to be going and now I'm not too sure. At lot of it has to do with the lack of money. I know I should take the job because it is what I want to do.
At the same time, the job at the science center or with the 4H office will also help reach that goal. Both will give me experiece with informal education, which is something I need. They will also give my experience with event planning, again something I need. So I can see both of those jobs working out too. But I will be able to make a decision by next week for sure.
In other news, Happy Day Corp./Arby's hosted a trip to a local theme park. Except, I'm not much of a rollercoaster person and my tummy was kinda quezzy so I did not think it would be a fun a day. I did go on few rides, and got a catchy sun burn but over all the day was not that great, or at least I didn't think so. Oh well, that is me.
And if you are wondering, yes I have read Harry Potter and no, I'm not going to tell how it ends. I will say that I finished it in three days, and tha is a big deal for me. I also liked at how fast the book moved and how things worked out. Ok, done with Potter. Besides, I'm sure if you really want to know how the series ends, you would have already finished the book yourself or find some dirary/blog or something else would have given away the spoilers. I'm not that mean. In fact there is a 'ban' on talking about Harry Potter at work until everyone has read the novel. It will be lifted by the end of this week though. No one wants to give the ending away.
